Palash Ahmed alias Mahadi. PHOTO/FacebookThe autopsy of Palash Ahmed alias Mahadi, the purported hijacker of Biman Bangladesh’s BG 147 has been completed.

“We completed his autopsy at 12 pm,” Chattogram Medical Forensic Medicine chief Dr Sumon Mutsuddi told Bangla Tribune on Monday (Feb 25).
However, he declined to make any further comments saying that he couldn’t reveal anything without the court’s order.
Earlier in the day, police said it seems the suspected hijacker was shot once from the front.
“We suspect that the bullet entered through his stomach and exited out of the back,” said Sub Inspector Sumon Dey of Patenga police station told Bangla Tribune before the body was sent to the hospital for autopsy.
On Sunday (Feb 24) night, Palash was killed in the commando raid at Chattogram’s Shah Amanat Airport after he tried to ‘hijack’ Biman Bangladesh’s BG-147 flight.
The Dubai-bound flight with a stopover at Chattogram left Dhaka at 5:05pm, carrying 134 passengers and 14 crew members.
The crew and passengers were evacuated safely from the aircraft before the security operation was conducted against the suspect.
