Mahadi alias Palash Ahmed, the Bangladesh Biman ‘hijacker’ killed in the commando raid at Chattogram, was married to actor Simla, his family claims.
“He married Simla 10-11 months ago. The family was unhappy with him for marrying someone older than him,” Mahadi’s father PR Jahan Sarder told Bangla Tribune on Monday (Feb 25).

He added that Mahadi and Simla had visited his hometown at Shonargaon as well.
“He has been taking money from home and wasting it for quite a while now,” Sarder said and added that he has lived in Malaysia for 3-4 months.
Sarder said that his son had returned home for 25 days and left on Friday, saying that he was going to Dubai.
Mahadi, who was in his mid-20s, died from gunshot wounds sustained in a swift eight-minute commando operation, the Bangladesh Army said on Sunday (Feb 25).
