The government has withdrawn duty five deputy attorneys general, serving as the state’s legal officers at the top court, from duty.
Zahirul Haque Zahir, Abdullah Al Mamun, Md Jahangir Alam, Sheikh AKM Moniruzzaman Kabir and Manzoor Quader have been relieved of office by the law ministry on Tuesday.
In its order, the ministry, however, did not explain why they were removed.
