The results for the Junior School Certificate (JSC), Primary Education Completion (PEC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Tuesday (Dec 31).
Education Minister Dipu Moni, Deputy Education Minister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury and State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain will hand over the result to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday morning.
Later, Education Minister Dipu Moni will announce the details of the JSC and equivalent results during a media call at 11:00am.
Meanwhile, the PEC and equivalent results will be announced by State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain at 1 pm.
Around 2.8 million and over 200,000 examinees appeared for the PEC and Ebtedayee examinations while over 2.6 million students took the JSC and equivalent examinations.
The results will also be available on websites of the education boards and the primary education department after the announcements and phone subscribers can access the results via SMS services as well.
To check the result:
Fifth graders can check results on the following links -- www.dpe.gov.bd, www.dperesult.teletalk.com.bd from 12pm onwards.
A primary student will have to type ‘DPE<space>(student id)<space>(year)’ and send the message to 16222 to get the result in a return SMS.
Ebtedayee students will have to type ‘EBT’ in place of ‘DPE’.
The JSC and JDC students will be able to check their results on the website of the corresponding education boards and browsing on this link from mobile -- www.educationboardresults.gov.bd.
The results will be also found on the result corner page of www.educationboard.gov.bd.
To get the result through SMS, a JSC student will have to type ‘JSC<space>(first three letters of respective board)<space>(examination roll)<space>(year)’ and send text message to 16222.
The JDC students will have to replace ‘JSC’ with ‘JDC’ and use 'MAD' as three letters of the board.
