Take all measures to prevent harassment of students: education minister

She said: “The DCs have been instructed to ensure the safety of students.”
The education minister has said the instructions for student safety on Monday (Jul 15) at the second day of the ongoing conference for deputy administrators, DCs.
DCs have proposed holding classes by reputed teachers in remote areas. For this they have asked for guest teachers to be sent to schools in the villages.
The government is also thinking about starting education TV which will be used to create a link between top teachers and students in the villages.
The district administrators were told to take action to stop coaching and distribution of note books, added the minister.
Directives were given orders to hold assemblies with national anthem at all schools with emphasis given on steps to inculcate spirit of the liberation war.
The DCs have submitted some recommendations which will be considered by the government, added the minister.
