Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader, who is undergoing treatment in Singapore, will return home on Wednesday (May 15).
The Road, Transport and Bridges minister talked to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina over phone around 8:20am on Sunday (May 11).
Abu Naser Tipu, deputy principal information officer of the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, in a Facebook status said, “The minister will return home on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight on May 15.”
On Mar 3, the senior Awami League leader suffered a cardiac arrest following which he was taken to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital in Dhaka.
On Mar 4, he was airlifted to Singapore’s Mount Elizabeth Hospital, where a bypass surgery was performed on him on Mar 20.
