Any institution christening itself after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman or any member of his family must get approval first, says the prime minister’s office (PMO).
A statement by the PMO on Sunday (Apr 7) read that the institutions must get clearance from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Trust which is headed by PM Sheikh Hasina.
However, it has been decided that the approval of the trust will not be needed for any biopic, literature or tournament in his name.
