Previously on Tuesday (Mar 12), DU students had boycotted classes over allegations of irregularities in the DUCSU polls held in Monday (Mar 11).
However, classes have resumed in all the arts, business, and science law faculties on Wednesday (Mar 13).
“Our classes started at 2 am and we have another at 2 pm. Most of the teachers were present,” Masudur Rahman, a first-year International Business student told Bangla Tribune.
The classes for Management Information System (MIS) Department, however, were cancelled.
“Our teacher cancelled the morning classes due to low attendance,” said Sumon, a first-year student of the department.
The DUCSU election, held after a long 28 years was marred by clashes, attacks on candidates and allegations of irregularities and vote rigging.
Opposition panels led protests and called for strike, demanding a fair re-election.
