A light earthquake, measuring magnitude 4.1, was felt in the capital and its adjoining areas on Tuesday (Feb 26) morning.

“The quake, with its epicentre in Gazipur, was felt at 10:50am,” Meteorologist Abdur Rahman told Bangla Tribune.

“The quake lasted for two seconds,” he added.

However, no damage or casualty was reported due to tremor.
