Chief Justice Sinha and his spouse get Australian visa

Chief Justice S K SinhaChief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha and his wife Sushoma Sinha have received Australian visas.

A reliable source claimed that after completing the visa application and the biometric process they were given three-year visa on Thursday (October 5).

Chief Justice and his spouse Sushma Sinha applied for a five-year visa at the Visa Center of Australia in Gulshan-2 on Thursday.

Sources said that Chief Justice is preparing to visit his daughter Suchona Sinha who lives in Australia. Yet their departure date is not fixed.

On Saturday, Supreme Court Appellate Division additional registrar Arunav Chakraborty met the Chief Justice. At 3:00 pm, he entered the official residence of Chief Justice and came out in the afternoon at 4.14 pm. Besides, High court divisional registrar (finance) Farzana Yasmin went there at around 12.15 pm.

It is to be noted that, Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha had sent a letter to the president seeking a leave of absence for a month on October 2. However, BNP has claimed that the Chief Justice is not sick; he has been forced to abstain from duty.
