Speaking to the media on Wednesday, when the Supreme Court upheld Khaleda’s bail, he said the Appellate Division has ordered to dispose of the matter by Jul 31 as the case’s paper book was ready.
Asked whether, the Khaleda was formally arrested in any other cases, Alam said, “The home ministry knows better whether Khaleda Zia is arrested in any other cases or not.”
The top has upheld the High Court’s bail order for BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia after hearing pleas by the state and ACC against it.
The latest development, however, does not mean Khaleda will be released from jail, as she is named as an arrestee in other cases.
