The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has announced that 97.59 percent students have cleared the Primary Education Completion (PEC), while 97.69 have cleared it’s equivalent Ebtedayee exams.
Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman announced the results at the Secretariat on Monday (Dec 24).
A total of 26, 52,896 students took part in the PEC examination this year, of which 25,88,904 examinees passed and 368,193 students received GPA 5.0.
Meanwhile, 2, 74,907 examinees appeared for the Ebtedayee examinations and 2,68,557 student cleared the test amongst whom 12,264 received the GPA 5.0.
HOW TO CHECK RESULTS
Examinees and parents will be able to see the results on the websites of the education boards and the primary education department after the announcements. Phone subscribers can access the results via SMS services as well.
A primary student can type ‘DPEThana/Upazila code roll number2018’ and send the message to 16222 to get the results in a return SMS.
Ebtedayee students will have to type ‘EBT’ in place of ‘DPE’.
