A petition has been filed with the high court on Sunday, seeking a stay order on the admission procedure of ‘Gha’ unit for 2018-2019 academic sessions.
Supreme-court lawyer, Yunus Ali Akand, filed the plea, challenging the legitimacy of the process after it was alleged that the exam of the said unit was taken on a leaked question paper.
Vice-chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University, dean of the social science faculty and education secretary were made respondents.
The admission test for ‘Gha’ unit was held on Oct 12 and the results were published on Oct 16.
