DU ‘Gha’ unit admission test: Over 70% MCQs similar to leaked questionThe first-year honours admission test of Dhaka University’s ‘Gha’ unit has been held, in which over 70 percent were allegedly found similar to a leaked question paper.
Bangla Tribune obtained a copy of the leaked question 43 minutes before the test, which was held at 81 centres in Dhaka from 10am to 11am on Friday.
The circled ones are founds similar.Following the exam, Bangle Tribune scrutinised both sets of question papers and found as many as 72 multiple choice questions (MCQs) were similar.
Out of 100 MCQs, maximum 36 questions were found similar in general knowledge part (16 in Bangladesh affairs and 20 in international affairs) while 19 questions matched in Bangla part and and 17 MCQs in English parts.

DU proctor AKM Golam Rabbani told Bangla Tribune, “No reliable source has confirmed us yet and the test has been held under strict security.”

He, however, said they were looking into the matter.
“If evidence is found stern action will be taken against the people involved,” said Rabbani.
As many as 95,341 candidates appeared in the entry test against 1,615 seats under the DU Social Science faculty for the 2018-19 academic session.
