The ruling Awami League lawmaker Abdul Mannan has been put on life-support at a private hospital in Dhaka as his physical condition deteriorated due to hypertension.
According to family, the lawmaker from Bogura-1 constituency, Mannan has fallen ill around 12.30pm on Thursday (Jan 16) at his Dhanmondi residence.
His brother-in-law Minhaduzzaman Liton said, Abdul Mannan has been taken to hospital after his blood pressure went uncontrolled. Now he is put on life support, however, his condition is being improved.
