The lowest temperature of the country has been recorded in Moulvibazar’s Sreemangal with a temperature of 11.5°C.
Dhaka met office meteorologist Ruhul Amin said that the temperature was recorded as of Wednesday (Dec 4) morning.
Meanwhile, Sreemangal weather observatory official Md Mujibur Rahman told Bangla Tribune that the temperature recorded on Tuesday (Dec 3) was 11.6°C and the weather is likely to get colder.
An upazila of the north-eastern district of Moulvibazar, Sreemangal is well known for its cold weather.
