A primary school headmaster was reportedly beaten to death over a land dispute in Pabna.
The incident was reported on Saturday (Nov 23) in the northern district's Atghoria upazila.The victim, 45-year-old Ashraf Ali, was the headmaster of Fulbaria Primary School and served as the general secretary of the Upazila Primary Teachers’ Council.
Ali was having a land-related dispute with his neighbour, according to his sone Mohammad Hossain.
OC Rakibul Islam of the Atghoria police said a team has been despatched to the scene before adding details will be available after initial investigation.
