Indian Border Security Force have returned three members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) and their two female informants nearly 10 hours after they were picked from the frontier in Cumilla, a Border Guard Bangladesh official says.
Indian nationals caught the RAB members and the two women when they crossed the southeastern district's Rahimpur-Ashabari border line mistakenly and handed over them to the BSF, Company Commander of BGB Sangkuchail's Border Out Post Subedar Nurul Islam told Bangla Tribune.
The three RAB members are constables Ridan Borua, constables Abdul majid, and sepoy Wahid and the one of the female RAB informants is Liza while identity of another woman was unavailable.
Following the incident, BGB called a flag meeting with BSF.
The Indian border force then handed over the RAB members and the two women to BGB around 5:30pm, Islam said.
