Police have recovered three unidentified bodies from Baral River in Rajshahi’s Charghat Upazaila early on Friday (Sept 20).
The bodies were spotted in the Sluice Gate area, confirmed Rajshahi Senior Assistant Superintendent of police Iftekhar Alam.
“We have recovered three bodies and all of them are male,” he said and added that the bodies are being taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
The Rajshahi police spokesperson said that these cases will be filed as unnatural deaths (UD).
Locals found the bodies entangled with the water hyacinth in the river early on Friday and informed the police. Even though it was initially estimated that there are four bodies, police recovered three.
