Two people, including a college student, have been killed and seven others were injured when a motorbike hit a CNG-run three wheeler on Habiganj-Baniachong road on Tuesday (Aug 7).
The incident was reported around 9pm of the day from Atukura area of Sadar Upazila in Habiganj, said police.
The deceased have been identified as Mukhlis Mia, 35 and Shakil Mia, 18, a student of Brindaban Government College in Habiganj.
“A CNG-run three wheeler collide head-on with a motorbike at Atukura area late on Tuesday, left nine people injured. The injured were taken to a local hospital where two of them died from their injuries,” said Habiganj police OC Md Masuk Ali.
“The injured have been admitted to the Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital and Habiganj Sadar Hospital,” said OC Ali.
