Incumbent Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University (BRU) in Rangpur, Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah attended his office after 33 working days on Tuesday for an hour!
He came to the BRU campus at 11am and returned to Dhaka by a plane at 12pm, sources said.
The VC was absent even in the interview session to appoint fourth-grade employees for the university on Tuesday.
The job seekers said it as a farce as the selection committee chief was not in the viva because the list of the selected candidates has been prepared already.
University sources said that the authority completed sorting 150 candidates for five different posts on Tuesday.
