Four people have been killed and at least 15 others injured after a pickup van overturned in Noakhali’s Chowmuhani Upazila.

The incident took place at the Chowmuhani Bazar around 7 am on Sunday, according to Harunur Rashid, OC of the Begumganj Model Police Station.

One worker was dead on the spot. The injured were admitted to Begumganj Upazila Health Complex and Four people have been killed and 15 others injured after a pickup van overturned in Noakhali’s Chowmuhani Upazila.

The incident took place at the Chowmuhani Bazar around 7 am on Sunday, according to Harunur Rashid, chief of the Begumganj Model Police Station.

The injured were admitted to Begumganj Upazila Health Complex and Noakhali General Hospital.

The locals brought 12 injured patients to the hospital; three of them were already dead. A few of the injured are in critical condition, said Syed Mohiuddin Abdul Azim, Resident Medical Officer of the hospital.
