Lightning has left three of a family in Gaibandha on Sunday.
The incident was reported from district’s Bhathgram Union in Sadullapur Upazila around 3.30pm, local Union Council member Md Mahfuzar Rahman said.
The victims have been identified as Rasheda Begum, 35, her son Asif, 15, and her nephew Siam, 9.
“They were struck by lightning while watching construction work of their house and died on the spot,” Rahman said quoting victim Rasheda’s husband Sabuj Mia.
