Two people have been killed in a collision between a truck and a motorcycle on Panchagarh-Tetulia highway.
The deceased are the motorcycle riders, Manik Hossain, 25 and Nayan Islam, 22.
The accident occurred at Barrister Bazar area late on Friday (Jun 15), said police.
"Manik died on the spot, while Nayan died after being admitted to Adhunik Sadar Hospital in Panchagarh," said
Panchagarh fire service station officer Nironjon Sarker.
“The truck driver had absconded; however, the truck has been seized,” said Panchagarh police OC Abu Akkach Ahmed.
