The Chattogram Port Authority confirms two ships were involved in an early Friday morning collision.
A feeder vessel has collided with an oil tanker at the outer anchorage of Chattogram Port, halting marine traffic on the Karnaphuli river.
Chattogram Port Authority Secretary Mohammad Omar Faruque told Bangla Tribune that, the accident took place at the channel adjacent to Boat Club area.
