Several districts across the country celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday (Jun 4) in keeping with Saudi Arabia.

Muslims in several areas of Dinajpur, Chandpur, Bhola, Jhenaidah, Sherpur and several other upazilas offered the Eid prayer on Tuesday morning.

Nearly 200 Muslims offered the Eid prayers at Dinajpur town’s Bashuniapatti Community Centre led by Imam Mowlana Saiful.

In addition to that the holy event was celebrated at the Sadar, Birampur, Chirirbandar, Parbotipur and Kaharol upazilas.

The Sadra Darbar Sharif followers at 40 villages in Chandpur are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday.

Moreover, hundreds of Muslims from Hajiganj, Faridganj, Matlab, Kochua or Shahrasti offered the prayers.

Nearly 10,000 people of 14 villages in five upazilas in Bhola are also celebrating the holy festival.

The holy festival was also celebrated in Sherpur Sadar, Nalitabari, Nokla, Jhinaigati upazilas in Sherpur.

Several areas in Jhenaidah and Sylhet’s Moulvibazar also celebrated Eid in keeping with several Middle Eastern countries.
