Police has recovered the bullet-ridden body of Subrang UP member Aktar Kamal at Cox’s Bazar Marine drive road on Friday (May 25).

The victim Kamal is a relative of Cox’s Bazar lawmaker Abdur Rahman Badi and a government listed yaba peddler.

Marine Drive official Monirul Islam said, “Acting on a tip-off, police went to Doriyangor bridge area and found a body on the side of Marine drive road. A total of 1000 pieces of yaba, one pistol and 4 rounds of bullets were recovered beside the body. “

Kamal might have attacked and shot dead by his local rivals, the police official added.

Earlier, the local people had identified the body as Aktar Kamal and informed the police.
