BCL man stabbed to death in Gazipur

GazipurAn activist of the ruling party student wing has been stabbed to death at Gazipur’s Tongi, says police.
The incident was reported from Bhoran Munshi Para Road around 8.30pm on Friday (Mar 1).
The deceased has been identified as 27-year-old Prince Mahmud Nahid, who was an activist of local Chhatra League unit.
“Nahid was stabbed by his rival group over a cricket match dispute on Friday, leaving him critically injured,” Tongi East police OC Kamal Hossain told Bangla Tribune.
“Locals rescued him from the scene and took him to a nearby hospital where the doctor declared him dead,” he said.
“The body has been sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College & Hospital in Gazipur for autopsy,” added the OC.
