An accident has killed a youth in Narail’s Sadar Upazila.

The incident was reported from the city’s Sadar Hospital area on Monday (Jan 28) noon, said police.

The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Mamun Hossain.

“Mamun was hit by a motorbike at Debdartola area near to Sadar Hospital on Monday noon. Critically injured Mamun was rushed to the Narail Sadar Hospital. When his condition deteriorated, he was advised to send Jashore Sadar Hospital. Later, he succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital,” said Narail Sadar police OC Elias Hossain.

“A case has been opened over the incident,” he added.
