Khaleda bail plea hearing in Cumilla arson case deferred

Judge Habibur Rahman gave the orders on Monday (Jan 7), confirmed the state attorney Mostafizur Rahman Liton.
He added that the court was supposed to indict the BNP chief as well as hear her plea in Monday but has deferred it.
The former prime minister stands accused of ordering the firebombing of a bus in Cumilla during a countrywide blockade of roads, railway and waterways in 2015.
The attack left eight people dead and another 22 injured.
Khaleda is currently serving a 10-year term in the Zia Orphanage Trust graft case in and is also being tried in the Naiko graft case.
