Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Rangpur on Sunday on a daylong tour in the third leg of her election tour.
The Awami League (AL) chief is scheduled to address two rallies at Taragonj Degree College Ground and Pirganj High School ground, AL sources said.
The Awami League president kicked off her election campaign from Tungipara on Dec 12 after paying homage to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Local and central ruling party leaders along with leaders and activists from the Grand Alliance will take part in the rallies.

On Monday (Dec 24) the prime minister is set to take part in a polls campaign event at the capital’s Kamrangirchar area.

The 11th Parliamentary Election is scheduled to be held on Dec 30.
