Awami League lawmaker Shamim Osman has said Dr Kamal Hossain has sold himself to come to power urging the Jatiya Oikya Front leader to leave the company of Jamaat-e-Islami.
“If Badrudduza Chowdhury alone can forge an alliance it’s possible for them (Dr Kamal) too. The next generation will not forgive Dr Kamal seeing how he has sold himself to come to power,” Shamim said on Saturday (Dec 1).
Speaking to the reporters after a street rally in Bhuighar area of Narayanganj’s Sadar Upazila, Shamim said, “Don’t try to take general people as fools. People are prepared to face any circumstance under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
“Under the Hasina leadership, Awami League will do much better in the upcoming polls than any other previous national election,” he said.
Osman urged all to bring AL in power for another term.
“If people want the continuation of development they will elect Hasina again,” he said.
