A pregnant woman and her daughter were killed after being run over by a truck in Pabna on Thursday (Nov 29).
The deceased have been identified as 37-year-old Rina Khatun and her seven-year-old daughter Barsha.
Rina’s husband Akbar Ali has been severely injured and is undergoing treatment at Pabna General Hospital.
Ali was driving his wife and daughter to the doctor in his van, when a truck from the opposite side ran them over. Rina and Barsha died on spot, Pabna Sadar police OC Ubaidul Hoque told Bangla Tribune.
