Bodies of four youth have been recovered by the side of Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Araihazar upazila of Narayanganj, police says.

Locals informed police after spotting the bodies lying by roadside in early hours Saturday, said Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abdullah Al Mamun.

“The victims’ heads were found smashed, which made it hard to recognize their faces.

However, the bodied didn’t have any sign of injury or rough treatment,” he said adding that 

the bodies were sent to Narayanganj General Hospital (Victoris) for autopsy. 

Police are suspecting that they could have been victims of internal dispute within terrorist gangs.

Two pistols and a microbus were also seized from the scene, added the ASP.
