Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has warned the drug dealers of dire consequences.
“There will be no compromise over drug and the people involved with it must be brought to book. If anyone challenges it, will face dire consequences,” Kamal said on Saturday (Oct 20).
Speaking at a media call by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at a Cox’s Bazar hotel, the minister urged the people to stand against the drug abuse.
“Help our law enforcement agencies in controlling drug abuse and tell the people involved in the job to refrain from this,” he said.
RAB Director General (DG) Benazir Ahmed, among others, accompanied the minister at the media call.
“We will eradicate narcotics from the country, no one will be spared,” Ahmed said.
