Ayub Bachchu's fourth janaza held in CtgPeople from all walks of life have attended the fourth and last namaj-e-janza of the legendary singer, guitarist and song writer Ayub Bachchu in Chattogram.
The namaj-e-janza was held on the port city’s Jamiatul Falah Mosque premises on Saturday.
Earlier, a freezer van carrying the mortal remains arrived there at 3:00pm.
Well-wishers, artists, political leaders, relatives, government officials, and childhood friends came to pay their last respects to the iconic musician.
The singer will be buried next to his mother at the port city’s Baish Moholla Choitonno Goli graveyard as per his last wish.
Ayub Bachchu died of a cardiac arrest on Thursday.
“Please pray for my father”
The singer’s son Ahnaf Tazwar sought blessings from all for the departed soul of his father.
Tazwar said, “Pray for my father so he can go to heaven and forgive him if you have a feeling of resentment against him."
"Perhaps my father could not give his best. But he gave his unlimited love to you (people) and tried his best," said the grieved son.
