Police have recovered the bullet-ridden bodies of three alleged robbers from a house inside a rubber plantation in Bandarban’s Naikhyongchari Upazila early on Sunday (Sept 30).
The deceased have been identified as Anwar Prakash Anaiya, Md Hamid and Md Parvez Bappi.
According to the locals, they went over to the house after they heard gunshots and saw the three dead bodies.
The police were informed and they recovered the bodies along with four guns from the scene.
“The shootout ensued when the robbers had a disagreement over their share of the loot,” Md. Alamgir Sheikh, OC of Naikhyongchari police station told Bangla Tribune.
