Five people including a guardian have been detained for fraud during the 'A' unit admission test at Dhaka University (DU) on Friday (Sept 28).
Two of the detainees have been identified as DU student Sadman and examinee Hridoy Zaman.
According to Professor AKM Golam Rabbani, Proctor of DU, the teachers on duty found electronic devices on them even though it was completely banned.
“They will be handed over to Shahabag police,” the proctor told Bangla Tribune.
A total of 81,096 applicants sat for the A unit exam that took place at 84 DU on and off-campus examination centers.
