All import-export at Hili land port will be closed for nine days on the eve of Durga Puja.
Hili Customs Clearing & Forwarding Agents Association in Bangladesh informed over the matter on Wednesday (Sept 26) through a letter from Shubrata Saha, General Secretary of Hili Exporters and Customs Clearing Agent Associations in India.
“All import-export activities will remain closed from Oct 12 to Oct 20,” Shahin Ur Islam, Secretary of Bangla Hili Customs C&F Associations told Bangla Tribune.
“Regular operations of the port will continue during these days the exception of government holidays,” told port’s Public Relations Officer Sohrab Hossain to Bangla Tribune.
