Local AL leaders at Thakurgaon celebrated the prime minister’s birthday in advance amidst a charity event on Monday (Sept 24).
As part of the celebration, 45 disadvantaged van drivers were given ownership of vans to support them in making an independent livelihood.
Local politician, Dr. Chowdhury Mohammad Anwar handed over the vans and presided over the ceremony which was attended by other local leaders, including MP Selina Jahan Lita.
