Mymensingh transport owner’s association has halted all bus communication to Dhaka since Tuesday morning.

The sudden decision came after a bus driver from Niloy Paribahan was beaten up by passengers early in the morning.

“The decision came from the central transport owners’ association in Dhaka,” said Momtaz Uddin, Chairman of Mymensingh transport owner’s association.

"We are trying our best to resolve the issue," he assured.

The passengers are suffering due to abrupt stopping of bus service and are resorting to trains as an alternative way to travel.
