Cox’s Bazar road crash kills seven.An accident has left seven people killed and at least 10 people injured in Cox’s Bazar.
The incident was reported around 11.30am on Tuesday from the district’s Chakaria Upazila, said police.
Two of the dead victims have been identified as Khair Ahmed, 32 and Zahir Ahmed, 30.
“A bus and a human hauler crashed into each other on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Upazila’s Baratoli, leaving four passengers of the human hauler, including the driver, dead on the spot,” said Nur Uddin of highway police.
As many as 10 people were taken to the state-run hospital in Chakaria Upazila town, he added.
Chakaria police OC Bakhtiar Uddin said that three people succumbed to their injuries while being treated at the hospital.
