A woman and her son, were killed following a head-on collision between a CNG run auto-rickshaw and a pick-van on Noakhali-Feni road in Senbagh Upazila on Monday morning, said Senbagh Police OC Moin Uddin.
The victims were identified as Feroza Begum, 60 and her son Mohon Khan, 35.
The accident took place around 10am as a pick-up van collided with the auto-rickshaw, leaving the duo dead and four others injured, he said.
Injured are being treated in the Noakhali General Hospital under critical situation, the police officer added.
