One person was killed in a collision between a bus and a train in Chattagram.
The incident was reported from Baraiyarhat rail crossing in Mirsarai area during early hours on Sunday.
The victim has been identified as Nirmal Chakma, 55.
Assistant Director of Fire Service Kamal Uddin Bhuiyan said, 23 other bus passengers were injured in the incident when the Chattagram-bound Bijoy Express train from Mymensingh collided with a SA Paribahan bus.
Six fire service vehicles from three stations rushed to the scene to the rescue of the victims, he added.
Chattagram Medical College Hospital Police post ASI Alaudding Talukder told Bangla Tribune that, some of the injured were in critical condition.
