Police have seized the bus in Faridpur that hit a mother left her injured and her infant ‘Akifa’ dead in Kushtia.
The vehicle operated by Faisal Gangeraj Paribahan was seized from district’s new bus stand area around 10.30pm on Friday, said police.
“The bus was found at new bus stand area in Faridpur and brought to Kushtia in the early morning of Saturday,” said Kushtia superintendant of police SM Mehedi Hasan on Saturday noon in a media briefing at Kushtia Police Lines.
“No accused have been detained yet,” he added.
On Tuesday (Aug 28), one-year-old Akifa, who was thrown to the road when a bus hit her mother in Kushtia died at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Thursday (Aug 30).
