A head-on collision between a bus and a truck on Dhaka-Panchagarh highway has left the two drivers dead and at least 15 passengers of the bus injured in Dinajpur.
The incident was reported around 9pm on Thursday from district’s Kaharole upazila, said police.Kaharole superintendent of police Ruhul Amin said, “A Dhaka bound bus, operated by Keya Paribahan, collided head-on with a truck when the vehicles caught fire. Two drivers were burnt to death on the spot.”
“Four fire fighter units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze at 10.30pm. Later, they recovered the drivers and sent to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Hospital,” added Amin.
The victims are yet to be identified.
