The female journalist in Pabna Suborna Nodi who was hacked to death identified her attackers before she died, claims her mother Morzina Begum.

“She told me the names of Razib, her husband, his aide Milon and several others who attacked her while I met her at the hospital. Suborna also demanded their death sentence”, Morzina told Bnagla Tribune.

Suborna’s husband Razib and her father-in-law are the prime suspects for the murder.

Police arrested her father-in-law and caretaker of her house Imran Hossain Tuesday night.

Local sources said that Suborna filed a dowry case against Razib last year in which she was scheduled to testify Tuesday.

Additional Superintendent of Pabna Police Gautam Kumar Biswas said that no case has been made yet over the matter.

We hope to occupy all the perpetrators soon, he added.
