Abu Farah Md. Naser has recently been promoted to executive director of Bangladesh Bank.
Prior to the promotion, he had been serving as general manager of the central bank’s Banking Regulation and Policy Department.
Alam joined the central bank as an assistant director in 1988 after acquiring his master's in accounting from Dhaka University.
