After national cricketers called a strike on 11 demands, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) expressed a desire to talk to the players.
BCB Chief Executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury has said the matter to the media on Wednesday (Oct 23) morning.
Nizam Uddin said that as a spokesperson for the cricketers, Tamim, talked to him and will decide a date after speaking to others.
“We have had contact with the cricketers and told him that the board is eager to resolve the differences as quick as possible,” said the BCB chief executive.
“Their demands can be met and all our programmes are taking place as per plans; a swift solution to the current matter will bring benefit to all,” he added.
