Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has claimed that no one would believe the ruling party’s comments over the recent clash between the students and the miscreants.
“Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said BNP-Jamaat activists are behind the recent unstable situation in the country. He claimed that they were engaged in clash with the students with firearms, sticks and also they beat the journalists and attacked AL’s Dhanmondi office. Even a mentally unstable person will not believe Quader’s words on this issue,” said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the party’s Naya Paltan office on Friday.
“BNP was not involved in any sabotage act during the recent clash during the student’s protests,” he claimed.
Fakhrul alleged that Awami League activists and their pet miscreants have attacked the journalists and general students during their rational protests for the safe roads in the country.
